We have been coming to PV for years and have done all the excursions. This was hands down the best, most comprehensive and well organized. The buggies are great, easy to drive and the sound systems so you can play your own tunes as you drive up the coast is a plus ! The botanical gardens were a hidden gem, with a great restaurant, you get ample time to explore. The next stop is a quaint little town to visit a family tequila distillery and if you are lucky the horse Favorito will stop by, he’s an awesome horse one the ranchers rescued. After that you stop off at the beach for a legit lunch that they order for you ahead of time. It was a lunch menu with real options, after that you can hang out on the beach or head out to los arcos and see all the fish and do a quick scuba dive. You wrap it up with a great drive back into zona romantica. This entire tour was as advertised and nowhere along the way did they try and charge extras. It is an exceptional value for the price and you will explore parts of PV that weren’t even on your radar. Kids, wife and Dad would definitely do it again.
This is the best tour in Puerto Vallarta hands down. The staff makes this worth while and fun! Even with my husband’s mobility issue of walking they were very accommodating!! My appreciated!! Who doesn’t like traveling in a buggy feeling the wind in their face while cruising along the twisty roads almost as good as being on a motorcycle ???? We busted the Botanical Gardens I could have stayed there all day so lovely all the plants, flowers, trails, restaurant. A short drive back to a tequila distillery by far this was the best tasting tequila espresso the flavoured varieties brought some back home. The day didn’t end there off to a local fishing village for lunch it was very good !! Had a nice cold beer and headed to the boat which picked us up at the beach we headed to the protected islands where we snorkelled with colourful fish and a turtle. We were also blessed to watch a female whale and her calf playing in the sea by surfacing & jumping. Quite a sight to see as I live no where close to an ocean. We then went back to the village and a short walk for some of the people back to the buggy’s and drove with everyone back to the base. Like I said the experience, the excursion is well worth it. We paid $125 US per person. The cars can fit 4 it would be a bit squishy for our rental it was just 2 per car.
What a great day! From the moment you enter the Sun Buggy office you are well taken care of. Great staff, incredibly organized and lots of fun. Jeff and his team have curated a wonderful Puerto Vallarta experience and we would absolutely take this tour again. Highly recommend!
This tour is amazing! Everywhere we went and passed along the way was well planned and comfortable while we drove ourselves! You will smile and laugh and have a great time.
Absolutely amazing experience, the staff was so accommodating even when we didn’t have enough pesos at the tequila distillery and their credit was down they allowed us to pay back at the tour headquarters. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, block traffic so we could go all at once on the hills of the city and even the buggies themselves were unbelievably comfortable. I’ll certainly be coming back!
