    Amazing experience at an unbelievable price! I visited Puerto Vallarta for a work holiday last year and had several procedures done at Armenta Dental, including two cleanings, a root canal, whitening, and a few fillings. It was by far the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Professional, thorough, and honest. The facilities were immaculately clean and the entire staff spoke great English. They were SUPER accommodating and understood dental procedures made me uneasy. All this for a fraction of the price of U.S. prices. I can’t wait to go back.

    UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. My appointment was at 5 PM. I showed up promptly and was asked to take a seat. I waited for 35 minutes and then proceeded to ask the receptionist about when I will be seen. The receptionist said another 15 minutes. I thought I had remembered the time of my appointment incorrectly. So, I asked her whether my appointment was at 5PM. She said 'yes' in a rude and impatient way. There was no apology for the inconvenience or any reasons provided for the delay. Yet, in the lobby, there was a poster that asked the patients to show up on time. There are many high quality dentists in the area who are respectful for their client's time. I decided to walk out and take my business elsewhere. If professionalism is important to you, I suggest you do the same. ==UPDATE== When a customer provides business with feedback, it can either use it as an opportunity to improve or discount it. It's obvious Armenta has chosen the latter. The facts are: (1) The appointment was at 5:00 PM (2) At 5:35 PM, the receptionist has not mentioned anything (3) When asked the receptionist said there is another 15 minutes of wait, which would translate into almost a full hour of delay (4) The receptionist did not apologize or provide a reason on the delay There are no two sides to the facts. The culture of every organization starts from the top; it is, therefore, unsurprising to see that the behavior of receptionist mirrors that of the owner of the organization.

    I booked through Dental departures to get some work done. Dr Armenta put a crown on my back molar. I remeber it was very sensitive when he put the crown in. He said the pain would subside in a few days it did not. I was in pain for several months as I had limited funds to get it fixed.Turns out they should have done a root canal and did not He was less than helpfull in dealing with the issue offering me discount on further work. To make matters worse a few months later that crown got loose and fell out.I contacted Dental departures on several occasions to pumblish my complaint on their website they gave me the run around and never did. I understand they get well paid by the dentists and so now realise why. This was three years ago and just noticed that I could lodge a review here so here it is. I would not recommend this dentist not only for his poor work but lack of accountability in dealing with his mistakes nor for anyone to trust all those positive reviews on dental departures. They control what reviews get published

    My husband and I have decided that even years from now if/when we have full dental coverage in the US, Efrain is our dentist. He has been so serene and amazing to work with to remedy failing dental work that was done (at much greater expense) in the United States. We have made 2 trips now, and gotten root canals (by Dr. Perla), fillings, crowns, deep cleanings, and such thorough care. I recommend this office to anyone. Everything is always sparkling clean and the staff communicates in english flawlessly.

    I had my teeth knocked out years ago and had some fixed but the dentist at the time said I’m going to have a lot of teeth problems in the future because so many fractures that will eventually become a problem. Had all my top teeth removed and implants put in. Dr Benjamin and his staff were amazing and caring. He brought in an amazing anesthesiologist. My mouth scans were way above what I ever expected and it cost me $86 Cdn in Dec 2021. The response times on all my X-rays and scans were all the same day results. Extremely quick. His scheduling for me was a priority since I was two weeks down from Canada. I think I had nine appointments in dentist, anesthesiologist and scans combined. Benjamin had all my prescriptions filled when I was picked up from surgery with instructions in English. English is spoken in his dental office and Michelle in the front office was and so quick on communication. Dr Benjamin even checked up with me once I returned to BC, Canada ???????? to see how I was feeling. That was much appreciated. I can’t say enough good things about his dental practice. I’d recommend him to anyone from small to huge mouth problems. He was amazing and with my flight, hotel for two weeks food and alcohol, I was still ahead by thousands and thousands of dollars as compared to if I had the same work done here at home.
