Disappointed and angry are probably the most appropriate words to describe how I feel. I got my hair, supposedly, "permanently straightened" at this salon on a recommendation from someone I know. I was told by the salon that it would most likely be around 2000 pesos, around 120 dollars. Not cheap but supposedly worth it. I got there and they told me it would be around 3800 to 4500 total. (It ended up being 4500 pesos ( about 250 dollars)). I asked them why it was so expensive and they told me I had very thick long hair and since the product was expensive they would be charging me more. At the time it seemed reasonable, but I'm not so sure now. How can you give a quote of 1000-2000 pesos and then suddenly tell me that it's more than double the highest price range. It just seems weird. I had the procedure done, it took around 3 hours and at the end it looked great. My hair was long flowy and pin straight. He did give me a side part as hid my bangs so I had to fix that myself, but it was no big deal. I was told by the man that I needed to avoid any contact with water and my hair for 48hrs. I took those words very seriously. I brought an umbrella practically everywhere with me just in case. And then we get to today, or yesterday to be exact. My hair was feeling a bit greasy and it had been around 4 days since I'd gotten the procedure done. It was still pretty straight, also I had tested a part of my bangs just to see if it remained straight. It did so my fears were alleviated. I took a shower and what do I see when I step out? My natural extremely curly, extremely frizzy hair, back in action. I was horrified, I was so upset. All that time, ALL THAT MONEY!! Gone, poof just whisked away from my wallet just as my dreams had been. All I wanted was to have a few months where I didn't dread having to wash and brush my hair. I just wanted straight easy hair for a while. Nope, not for me. I even waited overnight to see if my hair would dry straight. Nope! Nothing like that, I woke up and my hair was as frizzy and curly as it has always been. One thing I will say the was odd was that my hair was not tangled, like at all. Which was bizarre. It made re straightening my hair easier bit I still had to spend over 20 minutes straightening my hair again. And I'm no professional stylist. The roots at the top are still pretty curly unlike before where everything was straight. I just don't understand why. Why did this happen? What went wrong. I did everything I was supposed to do l even researched some videos and articles to see what I should do after getting my hair done. Maybe they skimpped on the product, maybe they were just incompetent. Maybe they're skilled in other areas, I wouldn't know. I'm never giving these people my money again.
Top of the line service. Every person working here is a pro. I got my gel pedicure and manicure done. I also got a hair wash, cut, blow dry and straightened. I'm very happy with the results. The price was fair for the value you get ($1100 pesos/ $55USD for everything) I'm happy I chose this place because the place was clean, the people were friendly and I didn't have to worry about them not doing a good job. I would highly recommend this beauty salon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Oh, and I got a glass of wine too. ????
Very beautiful decorated salon on the main strip Reasonable prices, appointment recommended Claudia the manager and receptionist is super friendly and speaks very good english. They do take credit card but they will charge an extra 4%. Jesus who did my hair color touching up Roots is pretty good however a few of them were not wearing masks.
We had a group of 3 bridesmaids to get our makeup and hair done as we walked in everyone was so nice and welcoming. We got offered to get our pedi or nails done as well.. all 3 of us got nails make up and hair done and we were all super satisfied on their work they did on us I loved everything they did on me! I would always go back here if I have another event in Puerto Vallarta! Highly recommend
I went to the salon today and got the best haircut I think I've ever had plus he spent so much time on my hair highlights they look beautiful. The salon is gorgeous and clean and the staff is very friendly. I made an appointment but I got right in. I really don't think my hair has ever looked this amazing and I wish I lived down here so I come again!!
