Disco Club Mandala in Puerto Vallarta is a nightlife gem that left a lasting impression on me. The club's location right in the heart of the city adds to its allure, making it easily accessible to both tourists and locals alike. The moment I stepped inside, I was met with a visual feast of lights and colors that set the tone for a lively night ahead. The music selection was a perfect blend of genres, catering to a diverse crowd. The dance floor was energetic, with people from all walks of life coming together to enjoy the music and the company. What really impressed me about Mandala was the attention to detail in its design. The layout of the club allowed for a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. The open-air terrace provided a welcome change of pace, allowing guests to enjoy a drink while gazing at the city lights and the ocean beyond.
We celebrated a friends birthday here and had a blast! Dancers were so fun to watch!! Fun music, sound/lights were really great, kind staff, and the venue was clean. I would definitely go back here!
Our night began with a young man approaching me and my bf. He promised us free entry, a free table, and the first 2 drinks on the house. Once me and bf made it inside the waiter who was assigned to us came up to us & took our first order of drinks without a menu & only offered a limited drink choice. After we finished our “free” drinks. We decided to buy 2 more rounds of drinks, and that’s when the waiter finally gave us a menu to pull up on our phones. Anyways, we were enjoying the music as they had a great selection & the atmosphere was very lively. However, my bf & I were not feeling any sort of buzz after finishing all 6 drinks (they tasted good, but water downed). So, we asked for the tab & we were charged the “free” drinks. That’s when I asked the waiter & he said that he could only take my margarita off bcs it was a old promotion. I then asked to speak to a manger/ supervisor & he then grabbed a young lady. The young lady who was super condescending comes & tells me that she simply can’t honor the young man’s word & that they won’t doing anything about it. I could see her telling this other man the situation, but by her body language I could tell she was upset with his response & so then I see her go to someone else & explain it to this other person. At this point I don’t think any of them were supervisors or managers, and if they were, they dealt with it very poorly. Soon after this the other man came up to me, and he was very condescending as well. He told me that there was no possible way that they could take the drinks off, that once the drinks were in the system that they could not been undone. I told him how was that when our waiter was offering to do that for the one drink. After a while of going back & forth he then offers to give us 2 free drinks for both me & my bf. I told him that I honestly wasn’t comfortable with being there at that point & how was that more beneficial than just taking the first 2 drinks off. He then gaslighted me & didn’t even answer that. He mockingly said you want that or nothing. My bf then agreed to that offer. At the very least the man left & then came back to admit the young mans fault. He said that the young man just started working there. So, I just let it go for a second & ordered the vampiros & that’s when the waiter said we couldn’t order that. Lol that we could order a paloma. Like this whole situation was a joke. We ended up getting the drinks, but left as soon as we finished them. Disappointing to say the least. Btw heres a screenshot I happen to have gotten of the two.
Scam tourists here. Obviously Fake 5 star reviews after each negative review. Like many others on here, we were charged over 1,000USD after being quoted about $200USD. They used intimidation and kept our ID and credit card until we would sign it. We went bc high reviews after such an awful experience I looked closer and noticed hundreds of the reviews are obviously bots and that they post 20 clearly fake 5 star for every one star left by someone saying they got scammed.
We went this weekend. I read almost all The reviews to see what I was walking in to. The bar has nice looks , Waitres brought the bill , no additional charges at all, I paid with cash and then he said no tips are included I said okay tip him at keeping moving. The music is to much constant techno I can dance 1 but after 15 min listening to the same sound bet bored. Drinks was on point. Bottles service available. No cover on Sunday, Saturday was 10$ us. The drinks prices is the same at any other clubs around 10$-12$ us each drink. I had a good time. Just be aware of your surroundings and enjoy.
