Checked out a good review thru google and decided to give it a try. We went there for lunch at 12pm but the grill options were not available until 2pm. We decided to come back at 2pm while visiting zona romantica. We went back at 2 pm and the grill option was available already. We ordered the grill mahi-mahi fish and shrimp ceviche. Both were good as reviews says. The portion was big and we only ordered that for 4 people. The food was delicious. Really recommend to visit this restaurant while in puerto vallarta.
Nice place across front casa ley. A/C, comfortable seats, gd service. Was there for lunch one day, dinner another.
What a great experience! Our Uber driver recommended this restaurant and it's the best meal I've had in PV! The portions are huge, it was super tasty and the service was amazing! You must try the sesame popcorn shrimps! The Margaritas were big and real nice as well! Delighted by this experience, I will be back!! Gracias for an epic birthday meal!!!!
Grill fish is a must try, the smoke flavour totally immersed into the fish, especially need to try the bone, best grilled fish I’ve ever had. The octopus cocktail is good too, octopus is tender and the sauce delicious.
In A Nutshell: -The Rio Grande Restaurant is a really good place to go find a whole red snapper cooked "sarandeado" style! -The red snapper you see in the photos below are enough to feed 3 to 4 people, but just two of us were able to devour it. -The flavor was awesome, I really loved the wood fired taste. -You get a small side of steamed veggies & Spanish rice too. -The restaurant is easy to find. Overall, this fish was $30, which isn't bad at all. I highly recommend going to grab a meal here especially if you are looking for red snapper.
