I don’t dine upscale very often, but this is a must-visit every time I visit Puerto Vallarta. As always, the food was excellent and the service and atmosphere impeccable
Beautiful setting and restaurant. Food was average Italian, the risotto was over salted, and the large prawns were not as fresh as I would have liked, I'm pretty particular when it comes to seafood. Overall, the service and atmosphere make it worthwhile if you are craving Italian in Mexico ????????
Group of 6 had dinner here on Valentine’s Day. Very busy but very efficient service. Fernando was our friendly server. He was very happy when we didn’t want to split the bill between the couples. Carpaccio appetizer and buratta appetizer were very good. I had the lasagna, happy that it was not over sauced with bechamel. Gelato marscapone dessert and limoncello to follow.. with two bottles of wine and tip. Pricey dinner but the wine we chose inflated the total.
Lovely place facing the marina. The service was attentive. Everything we ordered was a delight, including the bread basket! Do yourself a favor and ask for the spicy margarita. Although seated outside, there was a nice breeze which made the heat bearable. Highly recommend if you are looking for an Italian restaurant in the marina area.
This place serves authentic Italian food! We just spent 2 weeks traveling around Italy, and I can confidentially state that Porto Bello is on the same level of authenticity and taste. Their pastas are made from scratch as well. Highly recommend their tomato bruschetta, clam chowder, and beef tartar.
